Missing smoke
Posted: Sat Feb 28, 2015 7:35 pmJust installed updated FSND 707-420 Package with Alrot smoke- fx_alrot_smoke. Everything works but the smoke. What can I do to fix it? Thanks.......................

Posted: Sat Feb 28, 2015 10:52 pmThe .CFG file calls for "fx_alrot_smoke". If you do not have that fx file in your effects folder, it will not appear (The effect was not included with the 707 DL). You can edit the aircraft.cfg file and substitute another smoke effect. I used one from a B-52H download.

Make sure you check the spelling and these files are case sensitive as well. All it take is to have one letter wrong or a space in the wrong place a capital letter when the file has a lower case letter. These files have to match exactly.
