I'm new to FSX and the forum. I've been using the simulator for a couple fo months and do enjoy. However I'm very interesed in downloading addl. aircraft, missions and scenery. I cannot seem to get the job done. After downloading, I cannot seem to pull the files up in the game. Is anyone willing to help either thru the forum or via the phone? thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum. You didn't say if you'd read the page 'Installing Aircraft into FSX' in our Help section.

I'll be "Blunt" with ya, there is a bit of a learning curve to go thru to Download and install the Aircraft files properly and Scenery too.

Not quite as simple as Point & Click and ready to go .

Listen to Bill Womack and his advice here !

tho this is NOT how you Download & inject Aircraft into FSX ,its totally Different way.

also didn't say where you live at ?????? :o

it may seem difficult to you at 1st , as it did with me for a long time  , but once you see how easy it really is and a few tricks & tips , you'll be able to install & inject any Aircraft and scenery into Flight Simulator .

Really once I got the hang of it, I was surprised and then I went on some kind of Aircraft & Scenery Download Binge for 2 years, and now , I have over - 4,775 Aircraft in my FSX Gold / Acceleration simulator, and about 350 add on Sceneries too.

Its a little frustrating at 1st and it will be, but don't get pissed of at yourself and quit, or give up , ask questions and tell what your doing and how, the more specifics you provide the more some of the Older Veteran Sim Pilots can guide ya thru it !

in the meantime watch & re-watch this Video Tutorial by Bill Womack on installing Scenery into FSX.
