A very useful tip!

The internal "Steam" Site is so complex now, that it is all too easy to browse around and click on "things" without realising the results!

A bit scary at times!

"Steam" is slowly taking over the World!... :o ...!

Paul.... ...!

Thanks Fozz
I have been using steam for two different games now and I have never seen any of these but than I do not log on to the forum.
I looked at the link you gave and noticed that one user stated we was glad he was using a MAC. he must be one of those idiots that think Mack can not get a virus, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a MAC can get a virus just as easy as any ofter computer using windows. The only I repeat the only reason you do not see any Viruses on a MAC is because the people creating these programs know why waste there time infecting only a few computers when you can effect thousands. Just because you have a MAC do not think it is virus proof as it is not. Like I said the only reason you do not see one is no one has bothered to create one.
Give it time one will pop up soon enough.

Thanks for the info.
I don't use Steam for anything except buying and playing games. Been using it since the original Half Life, I think it was. I've never used the 'trading cards' or anything like that. Never been on a chat either. Nor do I click on links or ads I see on sites. I may be missing something here or there, but I don't get crap on my system that should not be there. It works for me.

Cleaned a lot of 'click happy' friends computers of sometimes 1000's of malware items over the years though.
