No Reverse Thrust

My "reverse thrust button (F2) works in most of my downloaded aircraft except the Bombardier ERJ135LR. The command may be missing in the aircraft cfg. Can anyone tell me how and what to add to the cfg to obtain the reverse thrust feature? Without it I'm having problems stopping the aircraft after landing.

Make sure that in the aircraft.cfg file you have a section

[GeneralEngineData]

and under that the line

min_throttle_limit=-0.250000 //Minimum percent throttle. Generally negative for turbine reverser

and in the

[TurbineEngineData]

section there is a line

reverser_available = 1 //Thrust reverser available?

with 1=YES and 0=NO

I am presuming the aircraft in question IS a jet, not a turboprop, yes? If it IS a turboprop, there are a few other settings to look at in the [propeller] section.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I bet you get more info than you can use all at once :lol:

Did as you suggesed and it worked with the jets and also turbo props such as SAAB 320, Dash7, etc. however I could make the Fokker 27 to activate although the command lines were included.

If you want, I will PM you my e-mail addy and if you would be so kind as to send me the Aircraft.cfg and plane's .air files it would help in the troubleshooting a lot...Or PM them to me (cut-n-paste them into the message), or even post them here, or at lest the relevant portions of them...?

I'm no profession designer by a LONG shot, but I can at least take a look to see if maybe I can fix...? I usually fly the military jets, that have no reversers, but, as I said, I can look at least :D
