Under Airplanes file Maule is there, but does'nt appear when selecting an airplane in FSX! Why??

Are you using FSX standard or Acceleration? I seem to remember this being an Acceleration only plane.

According to Aircraft - Listing - Default Types (FSX), the Maule is in some versions & not others.

What version do you have?

I use FSX SP1 SP2

According to the chart you need the "Deluxe" or "Gold" edition for the Maule to be flyable

BUT! All is not lost - - - Search Results for "Maule " > Page 1

When all else fails - CHEAT

So, to confirm...
Standard FSX: No Maule
Std + Deluxe = Acceleration: Yes Maule
Standard + Downloaded Maule: Yes Maule

I use FSX SP1 SP2 -- Thanks for sharing that with us! Most of us do anyway, but unless you have Std FSX + Acceleration... See above!

I'll look for "another" Maule, since I had troubles with Acceleration pack and will not use it no more. Thanks for everything

Well: something is going wrong. I made a clean installation of FSX and then, Acceleration. The fatidic Maule is there, but remains invisible

If you have FSX Standard Edition the Maule is AI Only. It will not be listed on the Free Flight Select Aircraft menu. It is not included with Acceleration.

Well here, lets compare some Files ,

compare you Maule CFG Enteries to this one , and pay close attention to the

Again pay close attention to the

Sim= entry ??

UI Manfacturer = Entry ??

on all the Maule Entries listed in the CFG File , see if theres anything matching up or not matching up with this one ??

Also take a close Inspection of each Aircraft Texture FOLDER , and make sure they are named properly , and that they match up with how the CFG File lists them under the

Texture = Entry ? {------------ this has to match exactly to the T - how the Aircraft Texture Folder is titled / called , exactly to the T, including the (. period) !!!

leave that Period . out and nothing will show up,, been there found out .

Other than that I don't have a clue what else might be the problem without being right there in front me to see and inspect it for myself,,,

maybe you could send in some screen shots or a good video for us to look at maybe

One of the bugs, that occurs only in the "Standard Edition", is the "Maule Air Orion aircraft" used in the mission has "missing gauges" and "other problems", as it is a "Deluxe Version-only" aircraft.
