AFG Beechcraft KingAir 300

I just downloaded and installed this aircraft. I have the AFG PC12 and the KingAir so far surpasses it! Not sure why I didn't download it earlier. I have a couple questions for those who have experience with it.

1. The master warning and caution lights are flashing non stop. I can't get them to turn off, it doesn't appear they are clickable points in the VC.
2. The altitude selector on the AP isn't controllable from the VC, only from the 2D panel. Anyone know of a fix?

I have the V1.01 update.

Thanks in advance to those who can help!

I am not sure about this aircraft but I have discovered that not all VC'S are the same. By that I mean that not all gauges wil work while in VC mode. I am not sure if this is a configuration issue are is this just the way VC'S work.
As for the flashing warning lights chances are something is not quite. Odds are something is off that should be on like Pitot heat or deicing not on.
In one aircraft I have the warning light flashes because of the deicing is turned on. Sometime when you click on the warning light a panel will open showing you what is on and what is off but not always it depends on the gauge being used.
You have to look inside of the aircraft cfg file to find out which gauge it is using. If you have FSPANEL STUDIO you can open up the panel and take a look at the actual gauge itself. If not I am not sure of any other way you will be able to check this out.
Fspanel Studio is payware but it is worth every penny and then some. It makes editing or adding new gauges as simple as falling of a log
If you really want to work with panels are gauges this is the best tool you can find.
http://www.fspanelstudio.com/
You can try this for free for a limited time without paying a penny.
It works with all versions of Flight Simulator
Updates made to this program are free to current users.

I echo Gary's recommendation regarding "FS Panel Studio"!
Works marvellously with 2D Panels... :D ...!
(...just have to be a little bit careful with VC Panels tho'....may not always work. VC panels are part of the original designer's model)... :( ...!
As a Gauge Modifier Enthusiast, I love it to bits!.... ...!

Paul.... ...!

"You have to look inside of the aircraft cfg file to find out which gauge it is using."

Shouldn't that be the "PANEL.CFG"?

Another thing it may be like Garry was talking about 'items being turned on or off' is the alternators are switched off.
Some aircraft have a flashing DUMMY light for the alternators. :D

P.S. If I remember correctly! :shifty:

Tested tonight with the v1.01 and the FSX package model. Granted I have few variations for the panel, but each should allow one to click on the MASTER CAUTION to reset, which should bring up the 2D pop-up of the annunciators from the stock 350. The red MASTER WARNING does nothing on mine, although the 2D pop-up is in the panel.cfg. It's a great freeware model and wish they would've designed even a basic VC for it before disbanding, but it's good enough for real world training even if all the switches don't do anything within FSX.
