For 2 times I have tried to download the US Airforce Megapackage.
Each time the downloading stopt with only 50 MB to download.
Due to this fact I can't install this Megapack.
Could anybody tell me what's wrong ?

It sounds like something about your hardware is timing out. Check that power setting on windows and if applicable the settings on your modem.... Slow (large) dls can seize up but I suspect hardware issues. :?:

Give us a link so others can try to see if it is on your end or is there a problem with the upload

I think this is it. http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=USAirForcePackage.zip&categoryId=&filename=Y

A huge file. 753 Mb. It would take me several hours to download from the free site. A slight glitch in your Internet connection & the download will be interrupted.

I think the only solution to download this megafile is to register me as an "Express member". Download rate will be higher. Another option is maybe that the download will be avaiable on simviation split in 2.

Several hours try 8 hours is what I got this is one I will not download. The only way to make this file smaller in size would be if there is more than one item in this upload. If there are multiple items you could split them up but if this is just one file than forget it.

More proof that some forum users and site users are 2 different species. Top download this week ;)

& just to say -- it's not the file because I downloaded it to fix something for Alan, who assembled it. If you can 'zip preview' the file and see the contents - it is complete.

Hi Brogy,

I've downloaded it ok but then it was on a computer that was not being used for anything, it took 4 hrs, at home it would have taken 7hrs.

If you preview the file you can then 'extract' just parts of it until you have all of it, by preview I mean open. Right now as I type it would take 4 hrs at home to down the full file.

regards Steve

I don't really want to divert anyone away from simviation, but for those who are still having issues with downloading the pack, you can get it from here http://fsx.alandejager.cf/downloads/USA ... ackage.zip
The zip is almost half the size (397mb) due to the increased compression SFX archives offer. I just stuck it inside a zip and voila! Also, the download speeds are higher.
(Pete, if you're reading this, feel free to replace my old zip with the new one from my site 8-) )
Thanks to all you folks at simviation for the great support I've received.
