vearing off center line on t.off

Hi,

Recently all aircraft are veering off the centre line on t.off run.

Aileron & Rudder trims are central & power symmetric on all engines on multies.

Same if another aircraft is selected.

Any other reason for this? .... thanx .....nick

Hi nichos,
I had the same problem a while ago, and for me it was my joystick settings. Must've hit a button and it threw my rudder completely off. That, and I dropped the stick a few times.... That drove me crazy to the point that I almost bought another joystick.
Sorry to sound basic, but have you tried recalibrating your controls? Looks like you mentioned centering them though. What kind of controller are you using?
I had the Thrustmaster HOTAS, and on the controller itself (not the software) I had the wrong button settings which enabled the stick to be used as a twist rudder. The controller also has a rudder control option on the throttle. Both options were enabled at the same time and caused similar behavior as you described.
Also, for some prop planes, there is also the p-factor (so I've read) that will cause the aircraft to pull to one side when power is applied during takeoff.
I find that I have to compensate for that during takeoff by applying left or right rudder (depending upon the direction of prop rotation) in order to stay straight on the runway. I don't think that is what's happening to you, but...
If you have another joystick to try, I would see if this occurs with that one as well.
Hope this kinda helps.

If you have recently increased the reality setting you will experience more torque from the propellers if you are not flying jets and also the effects of cross winds.

I find that; "veering off centre" mostly occurs after exiting the Pub on a Friday night, after an evening out with the Lads... :D ...!

I tried all those with no luck.

X45 does not install in win8 & yet it appeared & working when I upgraded to win8.

Only by flook I got to calibration on the HD.

Just in case somebody suffered the above go to:

CTRL PANEL
Devices & Printers
Right Click on icon of Saitek X45 Flight Control Stick
click on "Game Controller Settings"
click on Properties & click on "TEST"

I had some problems with my stick when I went to Win 8.1 and as dumb as I am I just plugged it into another USB port after I disabled the USB sleep mode in Win 8. I couldn't use the disc that came with my stick for profiles and had to change the key assignments in FSX itself. Other than that I would check the fuel and weight distribution in your saved flight. (Center of gravity)

Edit: The USB ports will work at first and very quickly will shut down if they are only getting random input..
