Once the programs of planes are in the PC, how do you get them into the correct Microsoft Flight Simulator X files (free flight) so they can be flown? I have Windows Vista.

Go to the download file, find your aircraft and use an unzip utility to unzip the file into a separate folder. Follow the instructions. Usually, all you have to do is copy the aircraft folder and paste it into the sim objects aircraft or rotorcraft files and you're good to go. Some files are a little more work, but there are always detailed instructions under the "readme" heading.

Hey wolf,
As there are various ways that new aircraft are added you might get a better understanding of the procedure by specifying a specific aircraft you would like added. You'll want to avoid an apples and oranges situation so specify the exact filename and where you downloaded it from.
