Hey guys, I am currently deployed, but was thinking of inst FSX on my laptop. Below are the specs for it. I know it wont be as good as my desktop back at home, but do you think I could run FSX with sliders set in the middle area and cloud / shadow settings turned off? Just want to get my flying fix until I can get back home to better computer.

1. HP Pavilion Intel(R) Coreā„¢ I7-2670QM CPU@2.20 ghz
2. 8 GB RAM
3. 64 bit system / Windows 7
4. 4 cores
5. 559 GB free
6. Intel HD Graphics Family
7. Total avail graphics memory: 1696 MB
8. Dedicated graphics memory: 64 MB

Thanks

yup, should work. I have an i5 4GB laptop with 2x versions of FS9 on it. Perfect! FSX... well, about 75-80% perfection. Then I dumped FSX in favour of P3DV1.4 -- SO much smoother than FSX. The latest version will not run as it needs DX11 & my laptop is DX10.2.

So, enjoy.. should be fine.
