1) Look in the aircraft/panel folder and find the gauges - move them to the FSX/Gauges folder
2) Aircraft panel sub-folder guages (if present) over-ride the FSX/Gauges - but they are better utilized in the main FSX/Gauges
3) You can open you panel.cfg and find out the names of panels being used, then check to see if they exist anywhere in your FSX folders
Main gauges file extensions .CAB or .GAU
Hope this helps
Lastly, be sure you have powered up the panels properly in the aircraft if they have their own switch (I know, you know, its not this, but just saying in case)

Don't forget to switch on the "Avionics" switch to display all the instruments!
Test your flight system, etc, out first, using the default Cessna 172 Trainer.

It always helps to tell us what aircraft you are talking about -- link to the page.
But yes -- the gauges aren't installed. They need to be installed either in the 'panel' folder of the aircraft or the main 'gauges' folder of FSX

I think this is the file in question.
http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=FSX772AAMetal.zip&categoryId=Several gauges are included in the Panel folder but from a quick peek at Panel.cfg the gauge named Boeing777-300 appears to be missing from the package. I suspect this is the FS9 default gauge which is not included with FSX.
Please note that I haven't installed it to FSX to check it out.
