I have noticed that some photos of FSX cockpits are from the aspect of sitting in the First Officers seat. How is this achieved? What keystrokes are required to change from the standard pilot position. I am a little new to flight sims and am still learning. :doh:

Some models will have additional views within the virtual cockpit. When this is the case you can cycle through these views by pressing the "A" key.
You can also move the camera by pressing Shift+Enter/Backspace or Ctrl+Shift+Enter/Backspace. Pressing Ctrl+Spacebar resets the camera to its' original position.

Hi Eagle,

from my own experience Pressing A won't give the right seat in vc as it's not a 'default' view list that A and S will give you. Try right mouse click on the windshield and select right seat if it exists.

As a test try it on heli's like the eh101 in vc mode but select left seat.

regards

Steve

Viewpoints are defined in the Aircraft.cfg

[CameraDefinition.1]
External Viewpoints

[CameraDefinition.001]
Internal Viewpoints

You can copy across viewpoints from another aircraft, but you may have to adjust the line

InitialXyz = 15.8, 1.3, 0.0

..and th eGUID needs to be unique I believe, but that's where to begin your search
