windows 8 and or 9 with flight sim x

Postby bombardier » Sat Apr 12, 2014 6:21 pm

I may be off track here but I know windows 8 is out and I hear rumors of windows 9. is microsoft going to make another flight sim besides fsx that works with xp and windows 7 fine. but with w8 and w9 in the future I do not know if fsx can handle w9 if it becomes a reality. even so w8 and or w9 must have a compatibility mode built in so you should be able to click on previous windows like w8, w7, and xp oh yeah administrators rights also.

if microsoft does make a new flight sim for w9 they shoud call it fsXI ( flight sim 11). I'm just makeing small talk thats all

microsoft no longer developes or supports fs.
they sold fs to lockheed martin and is now prepar3d.

windows 8 has problems running FS.
wndows 8.1 patch resolved alot of issues but still has some problems.
there are tips and tricks on the web to solve them .

I dont use win 8 and win 9 will really have to prove itself before I even consider upgradeing from
my tried and true win 7 sp1

I recently got P3d v2.2 (released last monday)
after some minor fine tuneing, it runs and looks great, alot better than fsx

hello to all:

I thought the p3d is for commercial use only its not like fsx. I thought the p3d is a little more advance than the fsx. can anyone buy it or iis it only made for pilots and co-pilots in the real world.

the next thing to do is maybe find a w7 system disk. why I'm thining it is because if this computer ever goes out I would like the w7 put back into a new system. I do not like w8 and I surely do not like 9. so if I can find a w7sys disk I will keep that for back up just in case I need a new computer and uninstall the factory installed op disk and replace it with my w7 disk.

win7sp1ult.iso can be downloaded from MS website.
then burn it to disk. you will have 30 days to purchase an activation.

I dont want to start another EULA debate about P3d usage (please, no debates)
but anyone can purchase it no questions asked
your just not allowed to be entertained by it.
