For Hagar...Doug

Good morning Doug... <<q

Got the problem fixed.

I did not have to call one of the Grandchildren either...

The Old Girl was looking over my shoulder and told me what I was doing wrong...imagine...me...doing something wrong :?:

BDSizer

I was not typing in the Name Change..."thumbnail.jpg"

What I was doing was changing the Name in my Pictures Folder which was not working and an unnecessary step.

I have all the pictures now and I now know how to get them down to the Size you posted....
Again thanks to little Miss Know-It-All...the Old Girl...

Now all I need is someone to fix the Take Off Performance for the Float Model...

Again thanks for the help Doug...Cheers...Doug

Hey, Doug are you using A2A Accu-Feel? If so, bring up the AccuFeel menu (in flight) Alt/Add Ons/Accu-Feel Set Up.
Now check your "Water Drag" setting and reduce until the plane takes off more realistically. This adjustment will only apply to this particular aircraft.
Hope this helps O0

Well it was worth a shot. I noticed after installing Accu-Feel ALS some of my float planes struggled to build speed on the water....and on landing the water was very......sticky....for lack of a better word

If you don't have Accu-Feel installed then it couldn't be the problem

Hi Doug. I'm glad you finally sorted it out.

I briefly tried the Fleet 50 float version on water. It takes off normally with Realism set to Easy but when I changed it to Hard with crash detection enabled it crashed every time. I suspect the problem is in the contact_points section of Aircraft.cfg. It's a long time since I messed around with these entries & I don't have the knowledge to fix that. Might be worth looking at the scrape points & there appear to be some wheel entries that don't seem necessary on a floatplane. I won't have access to my FSX for a couple of days to check this out further.
