Spartan Executive Repack

Postby paly » Mon Mar 17, 2014 9:13 am

I'm probably going to have missed something in this release, plus I know I want to further improve the Panel now that Milton has just released an Upgrade
which makes the gauges a great deal clearer to read

I've made a first stab at that, but I want to spend a bit more time on it and refine it
Meanwhilst, if there's anything you want to know I'm here to help

I have put up as much information as I can think of about what the Repack is all about ...HERE

Thank you paly for this ;)

For me, atm, is the running raindrops in VC panel most interesting

Any chance of transferring that to other planes?

You know what, I want to rant so bad about the rain thing!

Developers seem to be fobbing us off all the time - I read everywhere that it was not possible and that it had to be scripted into the model**
and yet here is a plane built in 2006, as freeware, that works !!
(** which it does in fairness, but it looked to me like Milton and crew only added a line saying animate_VCRainMoving)

It was built for FS9, and FSX CAN read the rain system after all!
So why can't Carenado add it to all their planes?? *humph*

So yeah, I'm really excited about the rain too. I WANT to fly in bad weather sometimes
Unfortunately this is probably the only freeware plane for FSX that has it, but hopefully it will re-open the debate
Glad you liked it.
Milton has only yesterday upgraded the panel, which I spent last night porting-over to my textures and is now in v2.0
I'm attempting to upload to Sim-Outhouse as we speak, and it'll be hosted here shortly no doubt.

Cheers :-)

Yep, watched that one last week, very nice! I did a lot of trawling around for this plane after I discovered it.
It was the sheer beauty of the thing before I got around to 'repairing it' that made me want to give it an over-haul.
It was long over due a service ;-)
