The Flight Simulator X Logo on the ground, sounds to me like you've got something installed wrong in the wrong place, what it looks to me like, or you've added some scenery and its not properly installed in the right correct place.

Is that just Sao Paulo, Brazil, SBSP, or part of the multipart Sao Paulo photo realistic scenery?

The only download on SV for just the airport, Aeroport Internacionale de Congonhas, (SBSP), is for FS98.

You have to remember that FSX display scenery in a unique order. You can put something in the wrong order which can cause things like aircraft to show up in the middle of a hanger. I look at it like a giant canvas in which you paint things one at a time.
When it come to adding scenery if there is some thing special you have to do first in order for the scenery to display correctly usually you will find a readme file that explains what needs to be done. Some scenery you will need to use a EXCLUDE statement so you clear the area for the new scenery.
With other scenery you will need to make sure that the scenery is either displayed first or last.
Other than that it usually does not matter.
So it is not so much as to what folder you put the scenery into but it does matter as to the order in which it is displayed.
