Brett Hendersen's C177rg
Today I downloaded Brett Hendersen's excellent FSX C177rg package (C177rg.zip here at Simviation)..
The panel and plane are great. There are camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg for the Aircraft Category (right wing, left wing, tail) and the Virtual Cockpit Category (right seat). No matter what I do with the S and A keys neither the Aircraft or Virtual Cockpit views show up. I deleted the camera definitions and replaced them with the default C172 camera definitions. Both the Aircraft and Virtual Cockpit camera definitions show up except that the x,y,z and p,b.h are not right for this plane. The C177rg camera definitions look exactly the same GUID numbers as the default C172 and seem all the same except for the coordinates.
I tried contacting Brett but the e-mail address in the package was no longer good.
I can edit the C172 camera definitions to suit the C177rg but I don't understand why his camera definitions don't even show up at all.
I know it's an old file (from 2008) but it should work.
Any help to determine what's wrong sure would be appreciated. Bob.
