SAAB GRIPEN BY PHILLPE WALLAERT

Does anyone have the four (4) effects files for the SAAB GRIPEN for FSX? The download does not seem to have the fx_gripenstrobe, fx_gripenburner, fx_gripenmach, or fx_gripenengine files. I really would like to get it to work in FSX but believe I need these files. Thanks for any help you can give me. Mike

I got it from the SimViation web site - JAS-39 (first one listed when you put in GRIPEN in the search block). Yes there is a DLL but it only for sound and I copied it over to the gauges folder per the instructions. I am using FSX ACC and I know that there are a lot of issues with afterburners, lights and gauges with it but I have been able to work around most of the issues with other aircraft but not this one. Thanks for your help. Mike

You're right, it does not include the effect files
Download Gripen2.zip. (The first on page 2 for fs2004 by Pretorius).
It has the fx files.

Edit. Do not install, but open the exe file to a place of your choice. Make a folder, ex called gripen, and point the install to that place.

Well it is like the rest of the FSX that I try to use on ACC. When you turn on the lights (L key) that afterburner comes on - I will have to add "throttle_threshold" control to the AIRCRAFT.CFG and PANEL.CFG files!! At least I know how to fix that problem!! Thanks again for the help. Mike
