Well, I'm still finding Airports in FSX that I never been to, or heard of !

I found this Airport by researching something else on the web, and seen what it was, so, I had to go check it out,,,

Default not too bad, but, I had to go and see if there was any Freeware or payware scenery that'd make it better, and I opted for the payware VMMC / Macau International Airport.

an improvement over-all.

quite an interesting airport , taxi' ways take pilots over the water on 2 different areas, kinda cool. :D

if you've never been to "Macau International Airport" / VMMC, go check out the Taxi Ways that take ya across the Bay !

I can easily imagine a passenger looking out their little window and mostly seeing water. :o

Speaking of strange taxiways.

I first saw something like this back in the early '70s whan I flew out of LaGuardia Airport.

Trying to find a picture of it, I found out that the JFK Airport has the same thing.

It's a VERY strange site to see as you drive under one of these taxiways. I had thought that they were moving a jet over a road.

Heres another weird Taxi-way.

I was gonna say where it was, but lets see who can guess where this is :?: ????

Notice the old PAA Airlines Boeing 377 propliner and the Lockheed Constellation triple tail propliner in the back ground taxi'ing over the bridge over the hi-way.

Leeds-Bradford International Airport (EGNM). England.

The main A658 road runs in a short tunnel under the main runway!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Leeds ... _2012..jpg

Very disconcerting when approaching the tunnel and a heavy jet is crossing your path in front of you!

One of my Lads lives close to it.

I saw this scene every day when I worked in Chicago. 8)

Yes, the light standards closest to the bridge are shorter, a wise move on the planners part.

Well - I must Confess

I really now ,, have NO Idea where that Photo would of been taken !

I was assuming that what I was seeing was Interstate I-70 that ran under the Old Denver Stapleton Intl. Airport from the 50's 60's 70's era ??

but, now I have NO idea , shows ya what I know :o

I do remember back in 1976 as we headed for Steamboat springs one Winter we were driving down I-70 in Colorado, as we approached downtown Denver we went under a bridge, and over the top, came a Big Ol' Jetliner right over the TOP of us on the bridge over the interstate tho.

OK, Mr M.

You take the prize.

Seeing that about to roll over me as I was stuck in traffic, would certainly make me want to be somewhere else. :D

The funniest situation is in Gibraltar, where the Winston Churchill avenue CROSSES the runway. Traffic has to stop (traffic lights) when aircraft are taking off or landing.

This is MCAS Iwakubi, Japan. I was there on det back in the latter half of 1986. Our barraks was right there at the end of the runway, the end farthest from the ocean. Great fun when one worked all night, and is trying to sleep as the F-4's run their engines up prior to take off. Those J-79's are LOUD! Anyway, as you can see, there are three roads that cross runways and taxiways. You had to wait at a traffic light, controlled from the tower, I think, until there was a break in traffic and you could cross. The base busses would run right along, slam their brakes on at the last second and then wait impatiently for the light. Lotsa fun getting to and from the Base Exchange and theatre, stuff like that.

This C-141B Pranged the day after we departed for MCAS Beaufort after the det was over. Our Avionics Repair van complex had been right where the wing first contacted the ground. We were all very relieved we had already left, I can tell you THAT!

Anyhow, have fun all!

Nice find Jet Ranger, I'm going to have to work that airport (VMMC) into the schedules now. That is a neat looking airport, thanks for sharing. If you find more unique airports be sure to get them out here as well :)
