CH Flight Sim Yoke
With FS9 the toggle switches on the right front of the yoke map to flaps up (switch #5) and down (switch #6) and gear up (switch $7) and down (switch #8) by default. It's an arrangement I like and want to use it in FSX but am not able to figure out how.
All help is appreciated.

I would have thought it would be exactly the same as my Joystick button selection procedure in both FS 2004 and FSX...>>>
Options > Settings > Controls > Buttons/Keys...
Paul....

....!

Obviously my original post was not clear. I have no trouble making or changing assignments but can't find a way to duplicate the FS9 landing gear setting for CH yoke buttons 05 and 06.
The DEFAULT switch assignments of the CH Flight Sim Yoke for FS9 - 2004 are:
Button [moves up] 07 = Flaps up incrementally - default
Button [moves down] 08 = Flaps down incrementally - default
Button [moves up] 05 = Landing gear up - UP ONLY THIS ASSIGNMENT DOESN'T EXIST OR IS NOT VISIBLE IN "Button Assignments"
Button [moves down] 06 = Landing gear Down - DOWN ONLY THIS ASSIGNMENT DOESN'T EXIST OR IS NOT VISIBLE IN "Button Assignments"
This is the arrangement I like but FSX is different, as follows:
Button [moves up] 05 = Flaps up incrementally - default - I reassigned this to Button 07
Button [moves down] 06 = Flaps down incrementally - default - I reassigned this to Button 08
Button [moves up] 07 = Drops something - which I'll use for something else if I can't find a way to duplicate the FS9 GEAR UP ONLY assignment.
Button [moves down] 08 = Landing gear UP AND DOWN - - I'll reassign this to Button 06
What I need to know is how, in FSX, to make Button 05 retract, and ONLY retract, the landing gear and Button 06 to extend, and ONLY extend, the landing gear as it now does, by default and without any visible assignment, in FS9/2004.
TIA for any and all help

This cannot be done with the default key assignments.
It can be done with a paid version of FSUIPC. This, in my opinion, is an essential addon, as it allows for many more assignments that flight sim does not give, trim on mouse wheel, & calibration of all control settings, amongst others.
