installing addon aircraft in FSX

What is the correct way to install addon aircraft to FSX? I installed an Aerosoft FSAddon Lysander, but only fragments of the aircraft appear when it is selected. The files does appear in the Simobjects file's list of aircraft, and also in the list of aircraft that can be selected in the "Free Flight" mode, but clearly I have failed to properly install the addon and would much appreciate advice on the proper procedure.

If you used the installer to install this aircraft, it is certainly installed correctly. Sometimes this fragmented aircraft are caused by other problems. Do you use FSX SP2 oder Acceleration? In fsx.cfg is there a value HIGHMEMFIX=1
If not, add this line in section [GRAPHICS], restart fsx and check if it works.

Uptill now, i've not seen installations from Aerosoft failing!
As Dan said, are you running sp2 /or acceleration?
Do you run dx10 in FSX? If so, turn it off.
Always point the installer to where you got FSX installed, and that means the excact folder!
