problems with views

Having a problem with the 2 d cockpit when I hit shift + enter to raise the seat in fsx it only shows it the side view but not towards the front. I fly most of the time with the 2 d prefer it to 3d.I've tried assigning different keys but still the same. Any ideas? Thank you Eldon
