I have flown for both IVAO and VATSIM. I even attempted to learn ATC but it was just to much and the one thing I have discovered is unless you have some kind of agreement as to what kind of aircraft you can fly while on line the aircraft will not show up to others unless they have the same aircraft in there fleet and I grew tired of seeing a aircraft that states it is a B737 but in reality it can be anything but that. And the other problem I ran into was getting bumped off because of to many connections are some one using a dial up connection caused a issue.
And it seemed that it was always when I was o short final. And the other thing I ran into was the ATC sometimes expected you to be a real certified pilot even if you stated in the start you were just learning they did not care if you did not respond to a request in the manner or time frame they would drop you and leave you on your own. That one really got me the most. Now mind you I have a vast experience when it comes to ATC as I actually worked a my home air port and I am quite familiar with the lingo. But some of the controllers would make a request so fast that you had to ask them to repeat it and if you did that to many times than they would kick you off the network.
I might be interested in this but only if you can assure me that none of what I talked about happens here.

I/we have much more fun using free-flight in the multitude of FS Host Servers for our Multiplayer activities, flying solo or in a group, without ATC or any other form of control or interference!... ;) ..!

There are many free FS Host Servers out there, and Simviation has its own FS Host Multiplayer FS2004 and FSX Server for its members and friends.

@garymbuska

No, we do not kick people out for not knowing ATC Terminology and we don't expect you to be a real world pilot. We are a community that accepts all that are passinate about aviation, Skilled or not. :D We are mainly a free flight server where we casually fly around. :) Everyone has the ability to learn, and we would be glad to teach anyone. :D
