Can FSX VCs be added into planes with a FS2004 mdl file?

Hi there,

I know that planes in FSX cannot have a virtual cockpit if their model file is one for FS2004.

However, does anyone know of any methods that can be used to install a virtual cockpit in an FSX plane with a FS2004 model file?

If anyone can find a way, I believe this might help many flight simmers :).

It might not be possible, but I think this might be a good topic to talk about.

Welcome

Fs9/FS2004/FS2002 /FS2000 you can NOT add a cockpit or a VC into a already builted//compiled MDL.. even Bill gates Can't,in that stage it can only be read by MSFS ,Unless you have the source Model .......

FSX , Can add a cockpit because Its a diferent type of MDL and FSX in that mater works diferent, It can accept FS9 models

FS9 dos Not accept FSX moldels ,..FSX accept FS9 models

Alas no, or I wouldn't be asking for aircraft recommendations every week, and instead I'd be flying some of Project Opensky's old stuff.
