Using editvoicepack 4.0 and wondering how do I add a call sign to the list. Have a small regional airline called Cape Air ( Cessna 414 ) but ATC doesn't recognize it. They are a real airline as my son works for them in St.Louis.

Here are the tutorials on using EditVoicePack X:

This one details the installation and 'first run'- http://www.fsonline.dk/en/index.php?title=EditVoicepack

This one details creating modifications (new callsigns, etc) with Editvoicepack x:-http://www.fsonline.dk/en/index.php?title=Creating_modifications_with_EditVoicepack_X

Added: Just looked in the airlines.cfg file, updated with Editvoicepack original update pack which comes with the installer. Cape Air (icao=KAP) is in the list, atc_callsign=CAIR. I verified that it does work in FSX.

ATC should use it as long as you also assign a flight number. You can assign callsign and flight number either in the aircraft.cfg on in the 'details' window when selecting the aircraft.

I tried to download the tutorial and the Editvoicepack...but it seems that the page is closed...I also tried to change things in the airline id and addded a flight number in config. of the aircraft without results..Could it be that adding the texture to...say the B350 thats fixed in FSX, dosent help ? do I need to download an original aircraft ? The same airlines are fixed in the ATC information box ...Also when flying the ATC dosent call....say....TCA 654, do this or that....just says.... beech 654, do that or this....I would like some sugestions please....thank you and happy landings...

Did you not read the first post in this list? As for what ATC calls any aircraft that can be changed in the aircraft cfg file of each aircraft.
Some freeware do not put any thing in this section and you will sometimes have a aircraft refereed to as experimental. But you can have a B747 called a Cessna 150 if you want just to blow peoples mind.
Editvoice pack comes with most of the common airline names like Speedbird Lufthansa Being South West and so forth it is usually the odd call signs that might be missing but there is a way to add them as well.
Just check out the links mentioned in the first post
