make sure that the path going to your FSX folder is the right one. You're path may go Program Files, instead of Program Files (x86). So double check your instillation path.

When you download aircraft or scenery, they just DON'T automatically go where their supposed to go, for you to be able to fly them !!

You have to prepare ahead and preplan a little bit, before they'll show up and work.

Downloading just the TEXTURE files for any aircraft also Requires some pre-planning ahead on your part and Also Editing the Aircrafts CFG File, and sometimes once in a while the Aircraft folder that comes with the download !!

My suggestion, is that you thoroughly learn, investigate the entire File and folder structure of your FSX Simulator, learn how its set up and organized, and layed out before trying to inject anything into your FSX Simulator, otherwise your FSX Sim will become a total disaster and mess really quick.

See you tube video on how to install Aircraft and scenery into FSX or Fs2004.

Jetranger - with 5,227 Aircraft in my FSX Gold / Acceleration Sim ~ !!!

I learned from many many hours of Experience and trail and error and mistakes years ago.
I kinda think maybe sometimes, I might maybe kinda know how to inject Aircraft into my Sim - Ya think ?

Jetranger is right on in this case.
One can not just add aircraft to FSX with out planing ahead What most of us do is to download any thing for FSX into a separate folder outside of FSX I have a folder for aircraft and one for scenery This way you are able to look at the contents of the down load and rest assured you have not messed up FSX . If one just goes about putting things into FSX we will soon be seeing a post from you asking for help to fix your FSX.
Now granted some freeware and all pay ware come with a built in installer but even in those cases you have to make sure it has the right path to FSX as most of us here do not use the default location Which is on your main hard Drive FSX runs better on a separate hard drive NOT a PETITION.
But not everyone has a separate hard drive <<v

Also, when I'm done Injecting that Aircraft or Scenery into my FSX Sim, I have a whole nother folder that I put and KEEP and Store that Download file in, Separate away from the other folder I downloaded it to originally .

My folder structure is set up like this, if I can explain it right,,,

Folder : New Aircraft to Install

Folder : Done Aircraft Installed

Folder : New Scenery to Inject

Folder : Done Scenery Installed

Folder : Panels to Install

Folder : Jetliners

Folder : Propliners

Folder : Ships

Folder : Payware Airports

Folder : ***** Freeware Airports

Folder : Aircraft Paint Kits

Folder : Problem Aircraft downloads

Folder : FRAPS Screen Shots

Folder : FRAPS Screen Shots

Folder : FRAPS Videos

Folder : because I like to create Folders

Nothing I hate worse than NOT being able to quickly find what I'm looking for semi quickly, I despise Dis-Organization and Un- Organization !!!

I don't like being Dis-Organized and thought~less , Duhhh :o

Now, wheres my Joy Stick and Rudder Peddles ? :shifty:
