I just downloaded the Space Shuttle Atlantis. In the Hints and Tips, it describe a section on how to do a vertical launch. It says to use SLEW to rotate to the vertical and to place the aircraft on the desire launch location. I know how to do horizontal slew (Press "Y") but how do I position the craft vertically?

Y to slew
F6/F7 to slew pitch (I think it's F7 to slew pitch and F6 to freeze it. Then press Y when you are at the correct position to end slew)

Hi there, there is a huge amount of stuff about space travel, etc. Search Rob Barendregt's 'space guage', 'near space expansion'. Simviation has got a lot of space stuff in FSX>Misc files as well. Hope this helps.

When in Slew Mode: "Y"...
...pressing "Q" increases altitude (go up); pressing "A" reduces altitude (go down).

When I press F7, the shuttle rotates but when I have it in a vertical launch position and press F6, it returns to its original horizontal position. Am I missing something?
