Postby cyrusdesai1940 » Wed May 22, 2013 5:33 pm

when I download an aircraft, I follow read me instructions to unzip to required folders.
Sometimes the panels are missing.

Why?
What does "repaints" mean

Cyrus which "Panels" are missing? Do you mean the Instrument Panel Folders?

REPAINTS are simply new paint schemes or additional exterior enhancements which you can add to an aircraft file you already have on your system.

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.

When you select an aircraft to download, carefully read the authors description beforehand.

If it mentions "Textures only" in the description, it will only be suitable for an aircraft which you already have in your hangar, and will not contain a number of additional files, (panel, etc), which are present in the original aircraft!

Such a file will only present you with "additional textures for an existing aircraft".

It would be better if the poster would include a link to the required file too, as some do already.

I second that! It's one of the features here that I really, really appreciate.
