Hello,Id like to get a little help about this download. i got ALMOST everything done, taxi, uo, level down, crash,etc,etc, and more etc, but there is one thing that i cant find....its the com1 button. if you have the atc open its ok but if you close it i cand find the button to activate it again,its not in the radio stack. should be in the front panel in 2d oe 3d or in the plane control stick. i cant get it nether in the joystick.. any sugestions please.....many thanks.

sorry chuck79 ....wrong anwser .....as i said.... if you have the atc open its no problem....that is if you start with the atc open but if you close the atc window by accident, or because you want to look around, i cant find how to open it again....in all other planes you have a headphone in the 2d or 3d panel but...here is none..i have checked all the possible buttons...give it a try and please advise....thank you very much.... regards

hi chuck79 a few observations .....its not 3d...its the cockpit and VC ....also if you want to use the autobrakes ..in the cockpit panel the level does not appear but it does in VC any way most important is that in the 727s ..wich i have donwloaded some ..all have the same problem...if you star with the atc open DO NOT close it ...it will only open if and only if..you get a direct call to your plane....unless here is something else that i cant seeeeeee.......

If there is no [headphone] simicon to open/close the ATC window you can use the keyboard assigned key(s) to open and close it.

The default assignment(s) for the ATC window are the [~] 'tilde' key, or the [Scroll Lock] key.

Or, on the top menu bar, you can open the 'Views' menu and click 'Air Traffic Control'.

I have the English version of FSX. If you have a different language version you can check the keyboard assignment: In the sim press [Shift + F10] to view the Kneeboard and press the Keys icon to see your assignments.

Downloaded and tested FSND 727.....

The "~" key opens and closes the ATC menu perfectly fine.


The problem must be on your end. Follow Dave's advice and find out which key is assigned to the ATC menu in your sim

ok....very many thanks...... idid not know this , to open atc via keyboard assignments wich is with our leter ñ... and i forgot to open it directlly under views ...thats the nice way not to get your commander strips (?) thanks a lot again....ill keep up the questions....until i get some more practice because the change from fs2004 to fsx plus a year out of pc,s i forgot some things....lost my dc10-30 from fs 2004 and i cant load "" ifly "" plus fspassengers..due to crash down in my pc....ill see if i can get and install accel paxs or fsx gold... many thanks again....

hello,,,could someone clarify or tell me what does this mean====Door operations are normal. <Shift+E> opens the main door (and pilot windows). <Shift+E , 2> opens the cargo door, and <Shift+E , 3> opens the self-contained, tail stairway ..=====right i can open the main door and pilot window but <Shift+E , 2> and <Shift+E , 3> dont.. maybe on other keyboards but ive tried all numerical numbers plus some alphabetic combinations and the cargo door and back stair are shut.... i accept suggestions

Release Shift+E then press 2, 3 etc

good morning chuck79....sometimes i write very late at night, so idont specify the ideas...sorry ill try to be more to the point,, most of the time yes... shift e...opens/closes main door....but when i press shift and numbres 2 or 3 i get in extra windows like the radio shack, gps, etc.

the numbers from 1 to 9 often fast open/close windows for elements from main panel to upper panel and so on..sometimes you can press shift e plus d or c ( ussually c goes for clossing fsx )

i programd. control 9 and 0 to fold/unflod wings and tailhook up/down. wich in camsim 787 super 11 house colors open all the extras.

in super viking 727-200 the tail ladder opens/closes as the main door ( no pilot window and no vc ).

so going back to the problem presented for.... fsx true model b727..., i understand.... shift e opens main door plus pilot window ... but the rest is of no avail. <Shift+E , 2> opens the cargo door, and <Shift+E , 3> opens the self-contained, tail stairway .. this keyboard item ( , ) between E and number 2 or 3 does not work in my pc keyboard and as for the numbers they take me to extras windows..

the story is that i started about a year ago with the viking 727 super charged ( THIS PLANE SHUTS OFF WHEN YOU SAVE IN FLIGHT AND COME BACK...IF YOUR HIGH NO PROBLEM..YOULL LOOSE ABOUT 2000 FEET TO RESTART...BUT IF YOUR UNDER 3000 FEET ...HASTA LA VISTA BABY....), to go around the world stopping at each capital, starting from venezuela...barinas,,until an island in the carribean wich i could not take off....from martinica le lamentin to guadalupe st barthelamy I...really a very extra short runway i tried front, back, side ways, so i took off in a smaller plane to the next island and go my journy with a bae 1426 all trough caribbean islands, central america, south america, cape verde and mauritania....problem the bae 146 does not have landingnight lights so you dond see were you go...

also i found that some airports have....radio frecuencies dont correspond, no parking area, no gas, ils out of the run way or to low, trees in the middle, no gates, no lights ( intern airport ) outer markers really outer.....etc

so i started to look for a plane that has every thing, self contaid stairs ( by the way...the fsx true model 727 in the photos shows a self cointend stairway but no clue how to activate it ), jetway, landing lights wich show at night on the tarmac, plus a working fmc...i have downloaded over 200 different aircrafts ( cross the atlantic and pacific areas ), but i think you cant get all in one unless its something big but then... you cant land/take off on short runways, as i assume that ill find in africa, europa middle east and asia..

To open the doors: Hold the Shift key down and press the E key. Release BOTH keys. Then press the number key for the door you want to open.

Do NOT press the ( , ) key, it was included in Chuck's text just to represent the separation between 'Shift+E' and the number key press.

If you get a 'window' opening instead of a door it's because you held down Shift after releasing the E key and pressing a number. This sends [Shift + number] to the sim, which is the 'open/close panel window' key sequence.

For the 'fsx true model 727', the rear exit/airstairs open with the door #3 command, [Shift+E] then 3.

many thanks davecu3 yeap..they work juuuuusssssst fine......i presume that the photograph in the sims as reference of the 727 with the front main door ladder is only that ...a reference...right because if you oppend the main door the stairs should unfold...or no... any way as i said before many thanks...ill go one with my adventure....

The forward airstairs:

As far as I can see, the forward airstairs are not modeled in the FSDN Boeing 727-200. Maybe you saw them in another author's model. Models generally vary from author to author.

Example: the Thomas Ruth 727-200 ADV (tom7272.zip) does have the forward airstairs.

good morning dave3cu..i downloaded the florida one 737-700 fsx-3 great. btu i cant see the wheels nor the main ladder there shaded off please see attached photo ...i landed at KORS Washington State from currrent location::Friday Harbor..eat all the runway:: but safe :::)))) any suggestions.. how can i send an attched document or post an image taken from my pc ? so you can see what i mean ?. i have the image under documents in word.
