Repaint Leagalitys

i have repainted an aircraft with several liver....liver...liver.. repaints and i have contacted the builder to ask if i can post them on Simviation... and i have not got a strait answer should i share or continue waiting?

I'm very sure the modeler won't be bother at all if you post a livery from his (her,they) model ,in fact I'm sure he (she,they) will like it,..
see, the problem comes when you upload the whole airplane ,
designers doesn't bother for repaints ,but they don't like people to grab the entire airplane and reupload it..

and advise ,just upload the new textures

You don't usually need permission for textures only.
Sometimes it helps to read the original Readme but you have done the right thing.

When it comes to the whole aircraft - some designers don't like it and some don't mind.

If you try (email and website forums maybe?) and get no reply the usual thing is to go ahead and upload and make a note in the readme that you have tried. Then rthe designer can see you have shown the right respect and if he objects the file can be removed.

In all our time and 10's 1000's of uploads -- we have probably only ever had about 20 requests to remove a file.
This hobby is driven by enthusiasm and it's great to hear you have done this. 8-)

ok thanks guys i will as i worked in the US navy on the S-3B and E-6B (NOT the EA-6B) so i repainted it and i will remember to give full credit where it is due!
