I downloaded an SR-71, and when I brought it up to fly at a certain airport for the first time the usual pop up started to download the scenery, etc then found the SR-71 in trees , then the pop up, then a different site, then the pop up and so on. All my updates are fine and I did a full virus scan, that was fine. Just wondering if it would be easier to do a system restore or completly uninstall FSX? Along with FSX I have REX and recently installed free demo 's of Orbx and Traffic two, but things have been fine with them.

Does the problem occur with other aircraft?

Try this: Move your FSX CFG file to the desktop. It's located in User/App data/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX folder.

You may have to "show hidden folders" here's a quick tut:

After you move the CFG file to your desktop, start FSX. FSX will build a new CFG. file and hopefully solve your problem
