I searched the forum but did not find anything - maybe the new forums have not been fully indexed yet?
When I am flying low and slow and/or fast, I find that a lot of time the vertical scenery "jumps" in elevation as I get closer. I was wondering if this was the result of a conflict between default FSX landclass/mesh and addons such as my SceneryTech landclass/FSGenesis mesh, or is it just "normal" FSX behavior.
Can be a bit unsettling sometimes. I don't use photo-realistic scenery, so it does not appear to be something jumping "through" a photo scene. But, flying up the Columbia River gorge in the F-18 shows a lot of scenery jumps. And I mean INSIDE the gorge. Like I said, "low"...
But, the same applies to the Green River, or Hells Canyon, etc. in the Meyers 200D or Mooney Bravo. Lot's of stuff jumping around.
Thanks! (and if it turns out it is "just FSX", I can live with it).
