Monitor goes black during flight

Not sure if this goes here or in gpu forum. My monitor goes black whenever I change views during a flight at night not during the day. If I start out with a cockpit view then switch to a spot view the screen goes black. I still have sound but no picture until I cycle through to the cockpit again. Any ideas.

are you running in dx9 or dx10 preview mode? Quite often when running in fsx10 mode I'll see similar screen issues as well.
