huh?
I cant make the directions any more simplistic
what do you mean you cant get it installed?
It just overwrites the main Texture folder in FSX AFTER you back that folder up
what i do is
1. open the zipped folder
2. open the main FSX folder
3.Copy and paste the texture folder into a backup folder i have on my desktop
4.open the install autogen folder
5.copy and paste the folder named 'texture' into the FSX texture folder
6.close the readme and both zip file and main FSX folder windows
7.start up fsx and click fly now and every thing is still the default autogen
:-?
1. open the zipped folder
I hope you mean you DECOMPRESS the zip folder to a NORMAL folder before you start moving things around and are not OPENING the zip directly to work with files
If you are thats is a NO NO and you may have even damaged your backup
7.start up fsx and click fly now and every thing is still the default autogen
Yes, it is.. isnt it
What are you expecting? all brand new buildings, houses and businesses?
Please look at a compare of nights here
http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?s=&s ... &p=1509604 This is a repair and enhancement of the default autogen. We fixed many issues the autogen textures had... still working on nights here too with 24 more textures we will release, but the textures are not brand new buildings and houses.. they are enhanced to be much better defined and also completely change how they look at night
if your system was already blury and you just dont know how blury it really is then you may not be able to tell the difference
You can see the rooftop details now... weathering, utilities... etc
The colors are more robust and realisic looking... night ligting and contrast on the buildings is completely changed and upgraded
