And don't use the disk cleanup utility in windows, correct?

The only things that need to be cleaned on a system are programs you do not use or need (uninstalled correctly), clean out the folders I listed in the tweak thread, make sure the startup system and boot processes are not loaded with junk, ....

Nick........I'm mystified by what's going on with my computer and FS9..........in short, I bought a dual core computer (specs below) and added an 8600GT and upped the RAM to 3 gig.....(with the intetions of running FSX)........here are the exact specs...........

Intel Pentium 940.......3.2ghz........
3 gig of RAM
8600GT

Anyway, what I'm confused about is this, I'm still having stuttering problems and it doesn't seem to matter whether I have all sliders right, frame rate locked or unlimited, etc.......just does prety much the same thing........same "stuttering" which I did NOT experience with my last computer.........single core ATI, 1.5 gig, 7900GS card, etc.......

SORRY to hijack, but, it appears this thread was about over and I wanted to make sure that you read this and might have an idea.........I've also completed all of your recommended tweaks listed above..........tried different drivers for the video card, etc.

BTW, THANK YOU for your wisdom and advice as it is VERY appreciated!
