Thank you for the clearence, Daube, and i can follow you a long way.
But, as i can see, we are a bit different on the working side.
I dont care that much by clikking inside vc cockpit. Its too slow "when i'm flying at high speed". I do my clikking in 2d and enjoy scenery!
About the f18. Yes i would never buy the VRS Hornet. I can dl a free 2d cockpit for the stock f18 in fsx.
I get the scenery and thats what i'm looking for.
That simply shows that you have, in fact, low "expectations" for aircrafts. You just want a Hornet to fly around over the scenery, you don't care if it really flies like a Hornet, or how it looks inside, or if the avionics are from a Hornet, or if it sounds like a Hornet. You don't care about how the real aircraft works. You are more focused on the fun of the flight itself and the exploration of the sceneries. Which is fine, because it's one of the many possible things to do in a sim.
My expectations, just like a good part of the serious simmers, is to learn how a plane looks like both outside and inside, to learn how it works, how to start it, how to use its avionics, and how to fly this plane. I want to master it like if it were the real thing. The default Acceleration Hornet will only allow a very small part of these. The FS-KBT Super Hornet will allow even less ! The VRS howeve, offers a MUCH complete experience on all points.
That doesn't prevent me from enjoying freeware planes. But when I have the choice between a payware and freeware version of a single plane, I will choose the one that is the most realistic, because realism is what I'm looking for, contrary to you
