Could you restore your computer to a previous point?

Dunno how others work, but system restoral only recovers original "factory equipment".  I tried that like the second or third time I FUBAR'd FSX.

The OP could try "shopping" SimV and snatchin' up some (near orig FSX quality) freewares.
