I just finished reviewing my motherboard manual. Low and behold I have TWO, count them TWO, Raid controllers on this board and not just one.

In case anyone is wondering how things turned out, I am still FLYING MY ARSE OFF with this new setup






at first I thought what i was doing was a dud... going from raid to a single drive means settings must change to compensate for the loss of data flow even if the cpu use is high,

I am getting mixed results in different cities. Some I have to deal with the autogen differently, as in add the lines back in, but unlike the past I dont have to make up an entire config file to suit one area  YAAA!

Still working it out here but as far as i am concerned, I am DONE with RAID unless I get one of these newfangled REAL raid cards to do the job right: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6816116025

grab a shot that matches #6 coming into KSEA on RW 16L

grab it in REAL time like I did and NO pausing the sim and make sure you use the 747

you recon you wont see mud?   lol
