What I took from your advice was to take out the Sentimental Journey info supplied by the author, and then replace it with one of the WoP ones.

they will read basically the same as when you first listed out your config, but just use the original .cfg as your template.  Like this.

Copy the original cfg text from [fltsim.1].  Paste it underneath it, right before the general part.  Then change all the particulars to read just like the .cfg file they gave you with the new b17.

Only reason i suggest to do this is sometimes the cfgs that come with the add ons are not formatted right.  You know the original is, so copy it, and just change the info in it and you can eliminate that as a possible problem.

Might not solve your problem, but it might as well...if that doesn't work, then I think one of the more seasoned guys will have to help you.

Sorry for double posting...


I downloaded the wopb17.zip from flightsim, and those textures work fine!  I still don't know of any reason thes textures aren't working, however, the Sentimental Journey texture folder has a lot of .dds files, whereas the   file has plenty of images instead.  I'm going to try to redownload the wop17sen.zip file again to see...


Also, just in case, the texture folder in the sentimental journey only has-

and the other b-17 folder doesn't even have a texture file!






I did copy the texture files in the Sent jrny file to the main FSX texture folder, but I don't think that would change anything...
