What I'm saying is that Boeing777-300.gau does not display for me.

If you denied once when it ask a first time ,it wont ever open again it simply will ignore the b777.gau , try rename the name like b777a.gau and also rename in panel.cfg all the b777.gau to b777a.gau see if it ask you again ,when I ran FSX in my old pc ,I saw this gauges in a Nvidia geforce MX, and oldie one Doug.

That's irrelevant. Dispatchcode explained that it's his unfinished repaint.

Sorry I didn't read it...

I didn't deny it. That's the point. However, I'll try your suggestion.

If it's not the video card it could possibly be a display setting or the drivers I'm using. All other FS9 default gauges I've tried have worked fine.

Yes I think the default FS2004 liners work just fine in FSX, but you have to be carefull about transfering their gauges as well.
I had transfered the FS2004 boeing 747, because the FSX one was too heavy on the frames... beautifull of course, and much mre detailled than the FS2004 one, but definitely a FPS killer  :'(
