FSX trail expired, and now does not work(Full game

Well i got a new error now which i got when i restored to an earlier date: what i said boutt patch data and what ever then

Not too sure about all of this... but you can try going into "Add/Remove Programs" and make sure that "Show Hidden Updates" is checked (at the top of the screen) and make sure that anything with the flight simulator is uninstalled (any updates, patches, fixes, add-ons... etc etc). Once all of those are removed, you can try to reinstall the packaged MS Flight Simulator. (Question: What antivirus/ protection are you using? McAffe? Norton 360?) Because, I know that with Norton, you can go in and "Allow" certain programs through (since the flight simulator connects to the internet for different reasons).
If none of this works, I would go to the Microsoft website and post your question/problem there and see what they have to say. Good Luck

Well ive been switching, I had Mcaffe and I got the blue screen of deeath so I had to get rid of that, now I use trend, because mY avg got bugged but I am swiching back to avg after trail is up, and so far i tried add/remove programs but i guess I can try to remove all patches and such

Well it seems that my eerror is in the Service pack 1 so does anyone have the link to it so I can chancge it

Sgt, the trial version only works for so long, then you have to pay for the full program.

I have the full verison I had it for a year, I am getting the message abou the product key for the second time, I entered it a year ago, I have the deluxe edition

i cant get in to the game because there is a corrupt file, and I cant fix that corrput file because when I go to add rmove and remove  it, i get one of the two long mesages I listed adove, so i gotta find the one file that is the problem and remove it by it self and i think its the service pack 1

thing is that FSX cant do that, and I am sure service pack is corrput so i went to FSinsider and downloading now nad maybe can repair or remove it then remove FSX and reinstall

well i am missing TONS of files, if i cant ill try to get a screen shot of my window screen, how do you do that if ya know

hey how many folders should be in the main FSX folder I went to properties of it and got 1591 folders and  5170 files and
the size of the folder is 1.18 GB which looks like im missing alot and my file is read only

Hey SGT. not sure I'm getting a clear pic. of your problem; but that sounds like you have way to mch stuff in there, could be confusing the main config files. You may want to try dropping the whole thing into rec. bin at the Microsoft games file and then explore add/remove files. I found that if I keep all add ons in a removeable disk and install one at a time, I am able to weed out the bad one's that mess things up like that "A-10" file. Just a thought.

The screenshot procedure will depend on what system and what picture processing program you are running. I can tell you that the "V" button takes the screenshot. Once, there, right click, scroll down to "open with>" and if you do have a picture processing program, open it and your pic should show up. Trim it down, if you need to, and upload it through the SimV. Upload button is left above the "home" button on the main SimV screen. Then SmV will give a [code], copy it, open up the reply page and paste it and leave whatever message.

I don't like to interfere but the V key will only take a screenshot within FSX. That won't be much use if FSX won't run.

The easiest way to take a screenshot of an open window is to press Alt + Print Scrn. Then open a graphics editor, try IrfanView, & press Ctrl + V to paste it in from the Clipboard. Reduce the image width to 800 pixels if necessary & Save As in JPEG - JPG format. If the file size is above 100 Kb adjust the Quality slider to reduce it.

well i already dleted files and trying to iuse dell forums, now heres one question that might help, is the product id, as in th e one you get in side the game by going to help then toruble shoot or what ever the same for everone, I know the product key that comes with the game inside the case is different,, if the Id is not, I could use that and get microsoft to help me fix it, if not I gotta pay that $35. if microsoft is not rich enough.......

well the one thing i havnt done yet is a disk clean up and defragment which i will do beforwe i got to slpeep maybe this will do it
