It's hard to tell.
Todays material will certainely no be enough for FSX, which is scheduled in at least 4 months.

I will choose in Decemeber. Only things I know for sure:
- Intel proc
- NVidia video
- Asus motherboard
The rest is detail...

Depends really:
Core 2 Extreme Kentsfield (Quad core processor) or AMD K8L.
Two ATI X2900XTX in Crossfire
4GB DDR2-1000 memory
Twin Raptor 150gb in RAID 0
SB X-fi best version.
Matrox triple head 2 go
CH yoke and pedals
track IR
3x21inch 4:3 screens.

Put it like this... Direct X 10.... when X 10 comes out, graphics are suppost to change.... that will mean a whole new bread of cards, I know that the latest offerings from nvidia and ati will play fsx pretty well, but I would wait untill vista and fsx have been released and then see what hardware is available at the time, instead of buying before hand.

I'll probably do a major system upgrade at Easter 2007, once FS is out, and Vista is out, and DX10 graphics cards won't be as horrifically expensive!
