Flight Simulator Water Configurator

Flight Simulator Water Configurator worked well with FSX Acceleration and Windows 7.

Can not get it to work in Windows 10.

There is supposed to be a Flight Simulator Water Configurator Plus either in development or available. Can not find it either and wondering if it will work with Windows 10

Any information or help on this would be appreciated also...

works fine for me... Windows 10, FS water configurator..... Have it on separate drive along with FSX..

Do you think it might be REX that it has a problem with as it worked well before with REX in Windows 7.

OK...have tried several times now to install this program "FSWC" and the newest version...tried running as Administrator also...

I keep getting an "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION ERROR BOX POPPING UP"

Still using Windows 10...also REX still will not show up in Weather Themes...Tired of waiting for REX to get back to me...

not sure on REX, I do not have that for my FSX... and i just chk'd FSWC and it is working on Windows 10..

What version of FSWC are you running in FSX > Windows 10

im using FSWC 3.15... but i did install it when i was still running win7...

Yes, I installed mine in Windows 7 and I am thinking something has to be changed as I did a clean install.

Not sure how to get to this in Windows 10 (JIT debugging) the error mentions it several times but how do I get to Tools in Windows 10?

Not sure on tools... you can right click on windows icon and find some system tools, if those were the ones you meant.

I had problems with a JIT Debugging problem when I was trying to add AI Traffic. It had to do with rewriting some files Windows 7 or above does not allow. While trying to add traffic the message would pop up and then I had zero traffic, I was so pissed.
You might try reinstalling it by a right click run as admin while installing and see if that works for you, I am on Win 8.1 now have not made the choice on 10 yet.

Have re-installed Flight Simulator Water Configurator a number of time...still will not work.

Keep getting the Unhandled Exception Error which has to do with the JIT Debugging being Enabled...that is the problem and I do not know how to get into a Windows 10 Program or Setting to fix it.

Am running the program as Administrator...

I am not sure how write protection is with Win 10, if it is like Win 8 or 8.1 I wish you luck, if it is like Win 7 you should be able to turn off write protection off your FSX folder and all files. If you knew which file it was trying to rewrite then just change that file write protection and it will solve the problem.
I wrote up a whole piece on that very problem but that forum as bad as it was finally completely shut down and I can't get to it now. But like I said it is a write protection problem, probably should have explained it better last time.

Edit= Win 8 will not let me turn off write protection like 7 did.

But I am telling you I stand by the write protection being the problem.
