menu bar issue

hi all i had a problem with fsx so un installed and re installed this afternoon. my original problem was that i couldnt get aerosoft my traffic to work and it still dosent and wont allow me to delete it from the pc. but now when i am ready to start the flight and i right click to get the menu bar it is greyed out and wont let me select menu bar. i use this to change the simulation rate, or to watch the flight back and some aircraft need you to go the radios through this menu for example. can anyone help???
