Are sound and soundai interchangeable?

If I "upgrade" default sound for an aircraft, is applying the change to the ai aircraft simply a matter of copying and pasting said sounds into soundai?

That should do it, or you should be able to just alias the soundai to the aircrafts sound folder
rather than copying the entire sound folder.
