Hey fellas,

Was wondering if there is a way around it or not.. and whether just giving microsoft and e-mail concerning it
(with photo evidence of the machines it has been installed on aswell as the FSX product key/hard copy)

As one that has really messed up FSX/Accel to the point of un/reinstalling more than quite a few times, I suspect that if you use the disks and accomplish a total uninstall of any and all previous install(s), then reactivations are less problematic.

I'm up to about 8 or 9 un/reinstalls, albeit on the same PC, and have had zero (re)activation difficulty.

BUT! That could be due to the same PC, IP addy, etc.

Methinks at this point a couple little thingies at MS are "thinking", 'Oh crap! It's this doofus again!' :D

And giving me a pass. :)

:-/ you know how MS is , 1 copy for 1 computer only ,just try not to tell them you got it installed in three or two computers that belong to you, tell them you just change your computer

Simply call MS (use your local country's phone number!) toll-free and ask to have your activation count reset...

It really takes less than five minutes!

Done this myself, it is no biggy. Ring up the help line. If memory serves they give you a link to download a small patch, though it is several years since I had to do it.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
