Is FSX Deluxe w/Accel compatible with Windows 7. I'm looking to get a Dell Studio XPS 7100 desktop

Yes it is. Get a 64-bit versionof Win7 if you can and read the forums concerning tips on
installing FSX in Win7. Pay particular attention to posts related to issues with UAC.

I recommend installing FSX in it's own directory and on a seperate drive if possible.
Use a short path name such as "D:FSX" and "D:FSX SDK" .

It works okay, but there are two issues:

Add-on scenery is somewhat tricky and hit-or-miss, but there's a work around...

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthrea ... on-Bug-Fix

frequent crash when using the in-game menue, but there is a fix for that.

Supposedly, that will fix the crash problem, but I've stiil had the crash occure after adding the "fix', but not as often.

So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs.

My eye and finger coordination is going to pot, yes I meant UAC.
