Issue with not hearing ATC sounds

I have FSX Deluxe and everything had been fine till 2 days ago when I lost sound to ATC only. When I play online people can hear me I can't hear them. And when I free fly I can see the dialog but no sound from the AI pilot input nor tower can be heard.

If anyone can shed some light on this problem it would be most appreciated.

Also I was wondering if anyone new of any freeware that you can get to get altitude and minimums callout's for larger aircraft.

Go to your SETTINGS - SOUNDS and see if the voice setting box is checked.

I think it is in the program at this point. I am able to hear it with select aircraft like the 747-800. I have reinstalled both fsx and acceleration and cant seem to get it to work.
