heli sound-restarts repeatedly

i love helicopters but it seems like many of the ones I have been downloading have sound files that make it sound as though the helicopter is restarting over and over. It ruins the realism of the aircraft. Is this something that I am doing wrong. Is there a good Huey sound file that I can find. I have looked but don't get any when I use the search field. Thanks
