HELP! ive downloaded A/C Packages from here they dont work??

Hi Guys I have downloaded some ac packages which were in the FS04 files and once I copy them into my simobjects folder i have the A/c but no gauges can u help???

Here is an example of a file i downloaded

Aerodesigns Airbus A318-111 which i found when i did a search for A318 aircraft and this looked cool. But it doesnt work. i have experienced this before when downloading some of the aircraft from 04 to use in fsx!

The problem is, that the panel is aliased to the default FS2004 Boeing 737-400. That plane is not in FSX, so you need to alias it to either the default FSX 737-800, or even better, the Default FSX A321

You need to go into the aircraft's folder,

-open the panel folder


-open the only file in that folder, panel.cfg, with notepad


-change the text to one of the two following entries,
depending on which panel you would like to use:

[fltsim]
alias=b737_800\panel

or

[fltsim]
alias=Airbus_A321\panel

-save it.



you should now have a working panel.

i have experienced this before when downloading some of the aircraft from 04 to use in fsx!

You do know we have FSX downloads too?
